Overview
Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) provides an additional layer of security when accessing KarbonPay.
When MFA is enabled, users are required to provide an additional verification method when signing in, in addition to their username and password. This helps protect user accounts even if a password has been compromised.
Setting Up MFA
When MFA is not yet set up, a reminder pop-up will appear when the user logs in. Users have two options to set up their MFA:
Use Authenticator App – Scan the QR code displayed on the screen using an authenticator app.
Use Email – Receive a verification code by email each time you sign in.
Accessing MFA Settings
To access your MFA settings:
Log in to KarbonPay.
Click My Profile
View Profile Security section.
Click Manage MFA to enable or disable MFA
Additional Information
Keep your authentication device secure and accessible.
Do not share your MFA verification codes with anyone.
MFA adds an additional layer of protection to your KarbonPay account and should remain enabled where required.
If you lose access to your authentication method, contact your administrator or support team for assistance.
MFA settings may be managed differently depending on your organisation's security configuration.
