Where is the e@syFile download?
Go to Submissions → Annual Submissions, select the tax season and download the e@syFile export.
Why is the EMP201 blank?
The EMP201 remains blank until all relevant pay runs for the month are completed.
Is the EMP201 sent directly to SARS?
No. Download the EMP201 and use its values for the SARS submission process.
Is UIF sent to the Department of Employment and Labour?
When you select Complete Submission, the UIF submission is sent and marked pending. KarbonPay records the submission date and updates the status and completion date after a response is received.
Where is the EMP501?
Open Annual Submissions, select the tax season and download the EMP501 shown for that season.
Why is ETI carried over instead of calculated?
Confirm the company’s ETI compliance setting under Settings → Payroll → Payroll Calculations → ETI. Add an effective date and enable the ETI-compliant setting when appropriate. When a company is not marked compliant, ETI accumulates as carried forward.
